Depth to pressure calculator

Gauge pressure = water density × standard gravity (9.80665 m/s²) × depth. Absolute pressure = gauge pressure + surface pressure. Nominal densities: sea water 1025 kg/m³, fresh water 1000 kg/m³. Real water density varies with temperature and salinity.

The "metres of sea water" (msw) and "feet of sea water" (fsw) pressure units have more than one definition in use, so this tool works in bar, atm and psi only.

It does not plan dives, compute decompression, no-stop limits, gas endurance or maximum operating depths, and it does not check anything against any rule or limit. Use your company's procedures, approved tables and the applicable regulations for all of those.
