• Port is a guide to primary sources. Our summaries help you find and understand the source. They do not replace it. Read the source before acting on it.
• Not legal advice. Whether a rule applies to your operation depends on facts we do not know. Take advice from a competent person where it matters.
• Not dive planning. Nothing on Port plans a dive, sets a limit, or says whether a particular dive, gas or procedure is safe.
• No decompression guidance, ever. Port does not publish decompression tables, schedules, no-stop limits or calculators, and does not generate them automatically. Use the tables and procedures your company and the applicable regulations specify.
• Templates are prompt lists. They are starting points, not statements of what the law requires, and must be adapted to your dive project plan and procedures.
• Held-back statements. Safety-critical statements appear only after review by a person with diving competence; until then the page links to the source.
